Aaron’s AI Visibility Extension analyzes the content and HTML structure of the web pages you choose to inspect and shows you AI visibility and SEO insights directly in your browser. This privacy policy explains what data is processed and how it is used.
Data processing in the extension
When you activate the extension, it reads the DOM of the current page to calculate metrics such as an AI Visibility Score, headings and structure, schema/structured data, meta tags, alt text, and readability.
This analysis is performed locally in your browser. Page content and analysis results are not sent to any external server controlled by the developer or third parties.
Local storage
The extension may use the browser’s storage APIs (such as chrome.storage) to save local settings and preferences, for example UI options or feature toggles. These settings do not include browsing history or sensitive personal information, and they remain on your device.
Email addresses and newsletter
You may optionally choose to provide an email address to subscribe to the Aaron’s AI Visibility newsletter. This may happen through:
– A “Subscribe” or “Join newsletter” link or form associated with the extension or its website.
If you choose to subscribe, your email address is used only to send:
– Newsletters and educational content about AI visibility and SEO
– Product updates and announcements related to Aaron’s AI Visibility Extension
